The database connection is via TCP communication on port 1433 . This is also reported on Microsoft's official pages for firewall settings to Azure SQL databases (see pink 'Note').
The other components need connections over HTTPS to Azure Web Apps and storage accounts. HTTPS means that communication via TCP over port 443.
